The Challenge
Clova Health needed a telehealth product that felt warm and human, not bolted onto a legacy EHR. The team had a strong clinical model but no scalable software to deliver it.
Patient onboarding, video visits, secure messaging, scheduling, and clinician workflows all had to live in one product with HIPAA-aware data handling end-to-end.
Off-the-shelf telehealth platforms either looked like medical software from the 2000s or couldn't be customized to Clova's care model.
The Solution
We built a web and mobile patient experience and a separate clinician workspace, sharing a single secure backend. Identity, consent, and audit trails were designed into the data model from day one.
Video visits run on a WebRTC stack tuned for low time-to-first-frame, with graceful fallbacks for low-bandwidth patients. Secure messaging, scheduling, and intake forms are stitched into the same session model.
Clinician-facing AI assists with documentation and visit summaries, freeing providers from after-hours charting.
The Outcome
Clova launched their care model on software that matches their brand promise: calm, capable, and patient-centered.
Clinicians spend less time on documentation per visit; patients consistently rate the experience well above the telehealth category baseline.
The platform continues to scale with new care lines as Clova grows.
